May 2015 - Hargreaves are delighted to further reinforce their forward order book by securing the work to install a new Mezzanine Floor for Sigmatex who are the Country’s leading manufacturer of woven Carbon Fibre products for use in Aerospace and Industry generally. The project comprised the installation of 120 internal driven shell piles which in turn support a heavy structural steel concreted deck which is home to six state of the art carbon weaving machines. The manufacture of carbon fibre demands almost clinical environmental conditions therefore noise, fumes and dust control formed an intrinsic part of all our working methods on site. The facility wss in full production throughout the duration of the works, therefore the need for close collaboration and liaison with the Clients management team was a paramount consideration.
